Research Field Objects:

  • Taxonomy: European flora, African flora, African fungi and lichens, diatoms
  • Plant conservation: wild relatives of beans, Belgian flora, flora of copper mines
  • Ecology: habitat restoration, monitoring water quality through diatom research
  • Ethnomycology: edible mushrooms in Africa
