Mysidacea from Terminos Lagoon, Southern Gulf of Mexico, and Description of a New Species of Taphromysis

Seven species of Mysidacea are associated with the sea grass Thalassia testudinum in Terminos Lagoon, southern Gulf of Mexico. The ranges of Siriella chierchiae, Bowmaniella floridana, Brasilomysis castroi, Mysidopsis almyra, M. bahia, and M. badius are extended. Four new reports from the southern Gulf of Mexico are presented. One new species, Taphromysis villalobosi,is described, increasing to three the number of known species of Taphromysis.
