Anopsilana-Conditoria, a New Species of Anchialine Troglobitic Cirolanid Isopod (crustacea) from the Philippines

Stygologia, 7(4):225-230.

Anopsilana conditoria sp. nov. is described from an anchialine cave pool in the Philippines. It is the second species of Anopsilana recorded from subterranean habitats in the tropical North Pacific. It is blind, without pigment and can be distinguished from other subterranean congeners in having a straight sided anteriorly rounded frontal lamina, linguiform pleotelson and relatively robust pereopods.
