The Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS) has held meteorites in its collections since the nineteenth century. The present collection consists of 422 official non-antarctic specimens from 284 different meteorites. 56 are Sahara meteorites that are not yet officially described. They received a provisional name (NWA).
