0.00 – 0.20 m
Dark greyish-brown, humic, sandy loam/clay; little calcareous

0.20 – 0.50 m
Greyish-brown sandy loam; little calcareous; Fe oxidation spots

0.50 – 0.90 m
Yellowish-grey/grey sandy loam; calcareous; Fe oxidation spots

0.90 – 1.10 m
Dark brownish-grey sandy loam/clay; shell fragments; very calcareous; Fe oxidation spots

1.10 – 1.50 m
Light beige-grey very loamy sand (sandier than above); very calcareous; Fe oxidation spots

1.50 – 1.80 m
Light beige-grey silty, very fine sand (sander than above); very calcareous; Fe oxidation spots

1.80 – 3.00 m
Light grey silty, very fine sand; very calcareous

Remark: top loam/clay layer becomes progressively more clayey from NW to SE (HEN-01, HEN-02 to HEN-03)
