S3, from top to bottom (fig. 2):
o 0-1 m: ochreous plastic clay (1) with rare gravels and ferruginous concretions
o 1-2.5 m: clayey coarse sand (2, 3); angular grains + some small white quartz pebbles
o 2.5-3.4 m: variegated ochreous plastic clay (4) with rare small quartz pebbles and sandstone debris
o 3.4-5.2 m: slightly sandy, ochreous and light grey clay (6)
o 5.2-7.5 m: medium to coarse sand (8, 10), ochreous then light beige ; angular grains + numerous small
quartz pebbles
o 7.5-13.5 m: slightly clayey ochreous sand (11, 13, 14) with alluvial gravels (shale, sandstone, quartzite,
fibrous quartz) ; the sand grains are angular to subrounded
o 13.5-15 m: brown clay going rapidly into fresh dolostone.
