Before you start exploring our collection and the related documentation, some explanation:
Tag “Marble*” = word marble not used solely as indication of a metamorphic rock, but for indicating all polished calcareous stones
Tag “Granite*” = word granite not used solely as indication of a magmatic rock, but for all crystalline silicate stones, thus also gneiss is included in this group
Tag “Sandstone*” = word sandstone indicates a stone with a sand texture, thus also limestones with sand texture.
